After you catch a couple of fish at Philly’s Fun Fishing Fest, head downtown for the 2013 Pennsylvania Coast Day, part of the WHYY Connections Festival. This is a free, fun day that the entire family can enjoy! This year’s event boasts kayaking, swan pedal boat rides, ferry rides, the PA Tug Boat Festival, “man overboard” demonstrations and so much more! The day begins at noon on September 7th at the Walnut Plaza on Penn’s Landing. Check out the photo gallery above, provided by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, of last year’s event. Free shuttles will run from the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center, which will also be hosting events, so catch some fish, and then the bus to the 2013 PA Coast Day!
