PDE Science Director Dr. Danielle Kreeger will be on hand to discuss the projects, which include freshwater mussel recovery in southeastern Pennsylvania streams, oyster reef restoration in the Delaware Bay, planting native vegetation, and creating &#8220;living shorelines&#8221; to protect marshes from erosion.<\/p>\n<p>The return of freshwater mussels to Pennsylvania streams is an encouraging sign for our ecosystem.
