\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following up Friday\u2019s ribbon cutting was a water-pouring toast on Tuesday, July 22nd at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.phillywatersheds.org\/what_were_doing\/traditional_infrastructure\/tools\">Southwest Water Pollution Control Plant.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Six different types of permeable pavers were installed in the plant\u2019s employee parking lot and will be monitored and tested to determine their roles for future projects around the city, including porous asphalt, several forms of pervious concrete and permeable paver products.\u00a0 Joining the toast were Mayor Michael Nutter, Water Commissioner Howard Neukrug, U.S. EPA\u2019s Regional Director, Jon Capacasa, Councilman Mark Squilla and Councilman David Oh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther than your bills, water is actually free anywhere so three cheers for the water department!\u201d remarked Mayor
