The cleanup was the latest in<a href=\"https:\/\/pwddev.wpengine.com\/blog\/first-schuylkill-scrub-2016-cashes-collaboration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> a series of volunteer events that kicked off this spring<\/a> and have seen hundreds and hundreds of residents taking on trash in and along local waterways.<\/p>\n<p><a data-context=\"true\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/philadelphiawater\/29715512091\/in\/album-72157674110687325\/\" title=\"Mount Moriah Clean Up Sept 2016 (2)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Mount Moriah Clean Up Sept 2016 (2)\" height=\"423\" src=\"https:\/\/c4.staticflickr.com\/9\/8492\/29715512091_6a1006f7c1.jpg\" width=\"485\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The day started off with our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pwddev.wpengine.com\/blog\/restoration-team-be-toasted-watershed-milestones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Waterways Restoration Team<\/a><\/strong> (WRT) removing a giant granite orb that had rolled from the cemetery into the Cobbs.
