Check out highlights on our updated water quality page:<\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"top0\"><a class=\"btn btn-lg btn-primary white bold\" href=\"https:\/\/phillyh2o.info\/trust-tap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tap You Can Trust<\/a><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Why read the Drinking Water Quality Report?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"semibold\">Here are four reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Peace of mind:<\/strong> Based on data collected by our Bureau of Laboratory Services throughout 2019, the results show\u00a0Philadelphia\u2019s drinking water meets, or is better than, all state and federal water quality standards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>It&#39;s your right to see this data:<\/strong> The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires all water utilities to produce and distribute water quality testing results on an annual basis\u00a0\u2014 which means we are held to a higher standard than bottled water providers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lots of smart people made it happen:<\/strong> Philadelphia\u2019s report is produced by a team of experienced scientists and engineers who test the city\u2019s drinking water for nearly 100 compounds, thousands of times each month. Additional monitoring is conducted 24\/7 at sites throughout the city.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You can help others and share it!<\/strong> We ask you to let others know about the report, especially those who may not have received a notice directly, such as people in apartments and nursing homes, school leaders, and businesses.
