Visits from PWD shutoff crews and water restoration can add hundreds of dollars in additional charges to your bill.<\/p>\n<p>To help customers avoid shutoff and get more manageable bills for their situation, we are hosting <a href=\"https:\/\/water.phila.gov\/one-on-one?utm_source=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online weekly assistance sessions<\/a> to support customers who need one-on-one help applying for affordability programs or payment agreements.<\/p>\n<p>Appointments start July 20 and run through October 26, 2022. <strong>You must schedule your session<\/strong>, because you will work directly with one of our customer assistance experts to complete your application.<\/p>\n<p>The one-on-one sessions are taking place on <strong>Wednesdays from 10\u00a0a.m. to 2\u00a0p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customers can get help filling out paperwork and ask questions about options like the <a href=\"https:\/\/water.phila.gov\/drops\/assistance\/\">Tiered Assistance Program (TAP)<\/a>, which can provide more affordable monthly bills based on household income and other factors.
