{"id":1849,"date":"2021-02-24T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-24T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/water.phila.gov\/development\/?p=1849"},"modified":"2023-07-02T18:07:58","modified_gmt":"2023-07-02T22:07:58","slug":"pwd-sbn-spring-maintenance-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/water.phila.gov\/development\/2021\/02\/pwd-sbn-spring-maintenance-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"PWD &amp; SBN: Spring Maintenance Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-md-font-size\">The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) and the Sustainable Business Network (SBN) are hosting a virtual Spring Maintenance Workshop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-md-font-size\"><strong>Thursday March 25th<br>9:30 AM to 11:30 AM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the PWD Stormwater Regulations reach year 15, more and more stormwater management practices (SMPs) are being designed, built and maintained across the city each year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the Maintenance Workshop is for SMP maintenance providers, regulators, and design engineers to examine the operations and maintenance phase of the SMP lifecycle and collaborate on best practices for incorporating maintenance considerations into SMP and site designs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Philadelphia-area maintenance providers, design engineers, and PWD will be presenting on the following topics:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard SMP maintenance practices and equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing a feedback loop between maintenance providers and SMP designers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing SMPs with maintenance in mind<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PWD\u2019s Post\u2011Construction Inspections Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sbngreaterphilly.z2systems.com\/np\/clients\/sbngreaterphilly\/event.jsp?event=38\" target=\"_blank\">Please visit SBN\u2019s website to find out more and register for the workshop.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PWD and SBN are also looking for volunteers to present at the workshop on the above or a related topic.
