Updated Stormwater Management Review Fees: Now in Effect<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Starting today, September 1, 2023, Development Services has increased some stormwater management fees and implemented two new charges for review and inspection activities. A one-time inspection charge will now be invoiced along with the Post-Construction Stormwater Management Plan (PCSMP) hourly review fee. These cost increases for certain PWD project-related services were adopted June 21, 2023, by the Water, Sewer, and Storm Water Rate Board. Latest PWD Stormwater Grants Awarded!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Development Services’ Stormwater Incentives program recently announced its latest cohort of grant awardees. For more information about the 14 awarded projects, visit the\u00a0Stormwater Incentives blog<\/a>. Meanwhile, the deadline for the next cycle of grant applications is October 18, 2023, and staff are now accepting pre-application meeting requests. New! UPR’s Commonly Missing Checklist Elements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A new resource that identifies the 10 most frequently missed items on applicants’ Utility Plan submissions is now available via the Utility Plan Review webpage<\/a>. Please refer to the UPR Commonly Missing Checklist Elements<\/em><\/a> document to ensure your plan is ready for review prior to submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New! Updated UPR Expiration Policy for Approved Plans<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Effective today, September 1, 2023, the Utility Plan Approval stamp will feature a three-year expiration date. This extension will apply retroactively to all projects. Thus, a plan that was approved 6\/1\/2021 is now valid until 6\/1\/2024, regardless of the expiration date on the stamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As all approvals are now valid for three (3) years, no further extensions will be granted, regardless of the disclaimer on the stamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L&I eCLIPSE Permitting Basics webinar: September 20 <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Philadelphia’s Department of Licenses and Inspections (L&I) is hosting a two-hour public training session for new users of its eCLIPSE system from 9:00-11:00 AM, September 20.
