This work will improve water service and create a more <a href=\"https:\/\/water.phila.gov\/sustainability\/climate-change\/\">robust and climate-resilient drinking water system<\/a> for all of Philadelphia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why are we doing this now?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Philadelphia was one of the first cities in the United States to deliver clean drinking water to its residents. This sequence will also allow PWD to keep rates affordable.
