Philly Water Bar at City Hall Highlights
Local Drinking Water Quality

Pouring nothing but fresh, cold, and local tap water, the colorful lunchtime Philly Water Bar pop-up will be open in the City Hall courtyard today, Wednesday, August 17 from noon to 1 p.m.

Weather permitting, Philly Water Bar will also return to City Hall Wednesday, August 24 and 31 from noon to 1 p.m.

The pop-up campaign is part of Philadelphia Water Department efforts to highlight the city’s drinking water, which meets or exceeds all state and federal standards.

Copies of the recently released annual Drinking Water Quality Report will be available at the Philly Water Bar in City Hall.

As ongoing surveys show, roughly 40 percent of residents mostly drink bottled water at home. The Philadelphia Water Department is continuing to reach out to customers to underscore local tap water as healthy, high-quality, affordable, and environmentally friendly compared to water in single-use plastic bottles.
