Drink More Tap bridges art with water education. Commissioning local artists, the campaign uses creativity to spread awareness about the benefits of drinking Philly tap: it’s healthy, sustainable, and affordable.
To increase awareness of the City’s top-quality tap water, the Philadelphia Water Department has partnered with Mural Arts Philadelphia to create pieces of visual and performing arts in collaboration with communities where buying bottled water is most common. The works have a recurring theme: Drink More Tap.
The campaign was inspired by tap water-consumption research conducted by the Philadelphia Water Department and the University of Pennsylvania.
