The Villanova Urban Stormwater Partnership Symposium will host over 50 concurrent technical presentations on all phases of stormwater management. This year’s symposium, “Stormwater from the Ground Up,” is the 7th of its kind to be held at Villanova and it boasts a plethora of speakers.
Highlights include E. Christopher Abruzzo, Secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, and John Capacasa and Dominique Lueckenhoff, both of the USEPA, Region III. The symposium is planned for October 17th and 18th. Discounted registration is available for early birds until September 25th.
The purpose of the symposium is to advance the knowledge and understanding of sustainable stormwater water management for those who work in all aspects of planning, design, implementation and regulatory compliance. Participants will include engineers, planners, water resource professionals, regional, state, and local government professionals and watershed and conservation groups. Tours of BMPs will be provided, including an Urban Stormwater Tour hosted by PWD!
