UPDATE:

A final Public Input Hearing for the proposed 2016-17 rate change will take place Thursday, April 7 at 8:30 a.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall on the 4th Floor. You are encouraged to attend and submit testimony. If you are unable to attend, you can submit written comments until April 18.

For more information, visit the Water Rate Board website here.

In January, we notified our customers, City Council, Mayor Kenney, and the Water Rate Board that we need to raise rates in 2016 and 2017. Read our customer info packet to get important facts about the proposed increase, which amounts to about $8 per month over the two year period for most customers.

As a part of the process—and to promote transparency—we hold a number of Public Input Hearings with the Rate Board, a new independent body created by voters to oversee any rate changes.
Please see the date, time and location of the Public Input Hearings below.

These hearings are open to all residents and customers, and any testimony will become part of the public record. We encourage our customers to get involved in the process and learn the facts behind our rates.
