With so many Green City, Clean Waters green infrastructure projects planned for neighborhoods all over the city, we at Philadelphia Water are always looking for ways to let residents know about upcoming work that will improve stormwater management in their area.

In that spirit, we created colorful new street decals that will be placed in neighborhoods where construction for Green City, Clean Waters projects is scheduled to start within six months.

If you see one of these decals on your street, you can check Philadelphia Water’s construction alerts page, scan the Water Construction map and our Big Green Map, or look through our District Updates on the Watersheds Blog.

In addition to the decals, we do our best to let neighborhoods know about projects by sharing updates at community meetings, partnering with local City officials and by alerting specific blocks with phone calls and flyers.

While we notify residents about on Green City, Clean Waters projects during the planning process, we also want to make sure people are aware of upcoming construction once the work is scheduled.
