Overview

Project #40641 Wise’s Mill Wetland Creation and Stream Restoration is an ecological restoration project that was completed in Wissahickon Park.

Goals of this project:

• Protect and restore Philadelphia’s streams
• Stabilize streambank and add grade control
• Enhance the ecosystems of the City’s parks
• Restore the riparian buffers with native plants
