Roosevelt Dam Removal and Stream Restoration

Overview

Project #40760 Roosevelt Dam Removal and Stream Restoration is an ecological restoration project that will take place in Pennypack Park in Northeast Philadelphia.

Goals of this project:

• Restore streambank stabilization
• Repair and protect critical PWD infrastructure
• Renovate trails to improve the City’s parks and community spaces
• Create a rock ramp for fish passage
