Overview
Project #50018 Gorgas Run Stream Restoration and Infrastructure Protection is a completed ecological restoration project. The work was done in Wissahickon Valley Park in NW Philadelphia.
This work:
- Protects and restores Philadelphia streams
- Repairs and replaces critical PWD infrastructure
- Reconnects the floodplain to promote stable and diverse habitat
- Improves the City’s parks and community spaces
