Grays Ferry Neighborhood GSI Stormsewer

Overview

PWD Project #50169 Grays Ferry Neighborhood GSI Stormsewer is a capital project that will implement both traditional and green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) to improve the stormwater management in the Grays Ferry neighborhood in South Philadelphia. 

This project will install new stormwater conveyance pipes to an already-constructed system at Lanier Playground (PWD Project #50102).

In addition, certain streets will include water and/or sewer main replacement. Please reference the “Streets Affected” list below for details on the work planned for individual blocks.

Neighbors will receive a series of letters prior to construction starting. This project will increase the service reliability and resiliency of your neighborhood and we appreciate your patience during construction.
