Neill Drive Stream Restoration

Overview

We are restoring and protecting the Neill Drive Stream in West Fairmount Park near the Wynnefield Heights neighborhood.

Ecological Restoration repairs streams and natural areas damaged by past urban development. Restoring these areas makes for cleaner, healthier streams. It also protects important water and sewer systems.

This work will:

• Restore and protect the Neill Drive Stream
• Repair and protect critical water and sewer infrastructure
• Reconnect the floodplain to promote stable and diverse habitat
• Improve the City’s parks and community spaces

During construction, residents can expect to see and hear crews using machinery to move soil and rock around the stream area. Typical work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Contact information for the assigned project inspector is provided below.

There will not be any interruptions to your drinking water, stormwater, and/or wastewater services as part of this project.
