Sandy Run Sewer Protection and Stream Relocation

Overview

Project #50225 Sandy Run Sewer Protection and Stream Relocation is an ecological restoration project that will take place in Pennypack Park in Northeast Philadelphia.

This work will:

• Protect and restore Sandy Run Stream in Pennypack Park
• Repair and protect critical PWD pipes and manholes
• Reconnect the floodplain to promote stable and diverse habitat
• Improve one of the City’s parks and relocate trails
