Benton Brook Sewer Protection and Stream Restoration

Overview

Project #50254 Benton Brook Sewer Protection and Stream Restoration is an ecological restoration project that will take place in Pennypack Park in Northeast Philadelphia.

This work will:

• Protect and restore Benton Brook in Pennypack Park
• Repair and protect critical PWD infrastructure
• Reconnect the floodplain to promote stable and diverse habitat
• Improve the City’s parks and community spaces
