Overview
Project #50269 Holmesburg Rec Center implemented green infrastructure to improve the stormwater management in the Holmesburg neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia.
As part of this project, a separate sewer was installed to convey stormwater from these streets to the newly constructed subsurface system located in the rec center fields.
Projects #50269 Holmesburg Rec Center and #50288 McMenamy / Torresdale were in construction concurrently in the Holmesburg neighborhood in Spring 2024.
This project is part of the Green City, Clean Waters 25-year plan.
