Hunting Park Cool Cover 2

Overview

PWD has partnered with community stakeholders and the Philadelphia Office of Sustainability to support Hunting Park neighborhood combat high temperatures, through the Beat the Heat initiative.

In the coming years, PWD will be constructing Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) projects to the neighborhood tree cover, which will help residents stay cool in the summer months.
