*** PWD’s 2025-26 Stormwater Grants Awardees Announced ***

Greetings, Philadelphia Development Community:

At summer’s midpoint, Development Services is pleased to share PWD’s next cohort of Stormwater Grants awardees. A key feature of the Department’s suite of Stormwater Incentives, the Grants program was launched in 2012 and provides competitive funding for private property owners to retrofit their parcels for improved stormwater management.

PWD’s 2025-26 Stormwater Grants Awardees Announced

The Philadelphia Water Department is pleased to announce its 2025-2026 Stormwater Grants awardees! A variety of Philadelphia institutions will receive funding for new green stormwater infrastructure retrofits, including four churches, two apartment buildings, a charter school, and a golf course.

Stormwater Grants: Fall 2026 Application Dates

PWD accepts applications for its Stormwater Grants funding twice a year, in the spring and fall—and the fall application cycle starts soon!

Key Dates:

  • “Pre-App” Meeting Request Window: Aug. 10-Sept. 18, 2026
  • Pre-App Meetings Conducted: Aug. 17-October 2, 2026
  • Application Submission Deadline: Oct. 16, 2026

Note that a required pre-application (or “Pre-App”) meeting must be scheduled and held before an application may be submitted. Interested applicants should request their pre-application meetings beginning August 10.
