    Stormwater Billing and Incentives’ Stormwater Grants Deadline:

    Pre-Application Request Deadline Extended!

    Pre-application meeting requests are now open for the Spring 2024 Stormwater Grants deadline! These meetings are required for all applicants planning to apply for a Stormwater Grant, and for the Spring round must be requested by EOB February 28th and held by EOB March 14th. These meetings will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis. We recommend an earlier pre-application date to have time to incorporate comments into your final application.

    The applicant must submit a Conceptual plan with their meeting request. Other documents may also be submitted for review but are not required.

    The next Stormwater Grants deadline is March 15, 2024. Applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on the 15th.

    Online Payment now available for NPDES Permit Applications

    In addition to obtaining approval from PWD, projects that propose more than one (1) acre of earth disturbance are required to obtain a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) Chapter 102. PA DEP is pleased to announce that for projects located in Philadelphia, online payments can now be made for initial Chapter 102 NPDES permit applications. New submissions should be made using PA DEP’s Public Upload with Payment Submission Page and answer the prompts as outlined below to complete online payment:

    • Resubmittal – No
    • Submission Type Filter – CLEAN WATER CW
    • Filter Submission Types by Program – CHAPTER 102 INDIVIDUAL NPDES PERMIT or CHAPTER 102 GENERAL PERMIT (PAG-02)
    • Permit #/Project # – Please leave blank until a Chapter 102 permit application number is assigned.
    • Fee Exempt – Yes or No; See the Chapter 102 NPDES permit application instructions for a list of entities that are exempt from fees.
